My Health Book

A is for apple both ruby and gold.. eat one every day and never grow old.

B is for bath one never should dread, take a warm one each night and hop into bed.

C is for candies, cookies, and cake of these goodies between meals oh! never partake.

D is for danger which lurks in the street, be careful at crossings lest trouble you meet.

E is for early to bed and to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

F is for flies, menace to man, swat them and kill them whenever you can.

G is for garden where healthful foods grow, have a big one and care for each row.

H is for Hands that must be scrubbed often let some dreadful disease lead straight to the coffin.

I is for interest you should take in good health. It yields a big profit in both comfort and wealth.

J is for jams which all children adore, eat just a little and don't call for more.

K is for knife to be handled with care to run with one open one never should dare.

M is for medicine nasty oil and round pills, follow these health rules and you'll never fall ill.

N is for nose you should breath through, see a doctor at once if you never do

P is for pickels and also for pie but neither is good for you [???].

Q is for quart of milk each day, drink it and grow in the very best way.

R is for rubbers to wear in the rain, they save us from sickness and many a pain.

T is for teeth so pearly and white bruch them at morning and also at night.

U is for understanding these simple health rules, To gain and keep health good habits are tools.

V is for Vitamines [???] and shy. They bring rosy health but no one knows why.

W is for windows to be left open at night, to make us sleep well and wake up bright.

X is for X-Ray that strange weird light, Lets honor the man that discovered its might.

Y is for you and also for me, to keep us as healthy as health can be.

Z is for zebra that story book tells but here it is for zeal to try to keep well.
